A Patient and Family-Centered Approach.
Family and loved ones play an important role in healing. Our visitation guidelines balance patient safety with the importance of having loved ones nearby. If your situation requires special accommodations, please talk with our staff; we’re here to help.
For the safety of our patients and visitors, there may be some patient care areas that have limited access for visitors.
Visitors are allowed in the pre-op areas while a patient is waiting for surgery, preferably after the necessary preparations and assessments have been performed. Children (under 18 years of age) must have their parents or guardians present.
Visitation for overnight hospitalized patients is from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., 7 days a week.
It is preferred to have no more than two visitors at any one time in a patient's room, to ensure safety, consideration of patient care, and physical limitations of the space.
Children may visit when accompanied by a responsible adult (not the patient).
Note for parents of pediatric surgery patients: We recommend leaving siblings at home when possible, so you can give your full attention to the child having surgery.
If a visitor needs physical assistance or medical support, they must be accompanied by their own support person. This ensures our staff can focus on patient care.
To protect our patients, please do not visit if you have any signs of illness, including:
We ask all visitors to clean their hands before entering and after leaving patient rooms. Hand sanitizer stations are located throughout the facility.
We maintain a safe, respectful environment for all patients and staff. Behavior that threatens safety or disrupts patient care will be addressed immediately by our team.
We understand families want to capture special moments. You're welcome to take photos or videos of your loved one with their permission, as long as it doesn't:
We reserve the right to restrict recording at any time to protect patient privacy and safety.
