Staff

   All patients are under the professional care of a member of the medical staff. The Medical Director is responsible for establishing and assuring compliance of standards of care for patients. Physicians make rounds just as those physicians at traditional hospitals do.

   All of our pre-operative and post-operative nurses hold certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support. Many hold certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support and advanced certifivations such as Certified Ambulatory Peri-Anesthesia Nurse. Many of our nurses have extensive backgrounds in intensive care, pediatrics and trauma. The nurse to patient ratio never exceeds 1:3 and is often 1:2 or 1:1.

   Our operating room staff is a highly skilled group of nurses and technicians with many advanced certifications including Certified Registered Nurse First Assistant and Certified Peri-operative nurse.
